Beginning in the mid to late 18th century the Romanticism movement can be described as the most influential movement of the 1700's. A reaction to the Industrial Revolution the Romanticism movement influenced many topics. The movement had a considerable impact on politics, education, and historiography. It focused on feelings such as horror, apprehension, and awe. Some of the most famous poets of this time include William Blake, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, and John Keats.
